Landscape contractors come and go, but one Northern Colorado company; Alpine Gardens, has stood the test of time.Started in 1978 in Greeley, Colorado, by Jack and Chris Fetig, Alpine Gardens has become the standard that other landscape companies strive to emulate. With two locations, one at Fossil Creek Nursery in Fort Collins and the other in Greeley, this award-winning company has been installing quality landscapes for nearly 30 years throughout the Front Range of Colorado and southern Wyoming.

Compared to many of their projects, the rear landscaping for our new home was relatively small. However, designer Evan Moore and his excellent crew led by Brandon treated us like their most important customer. All are incredibly hard working, friendly and expert at what they do. The wet spring weather was the most frustrating aspect of our project, for us and them! Also waiting for the concrete for the stairway and path on our steep lot to cure was also frustrating but necessary. The crew, Evan and Brandon went above and beyond with good humor providing the additional changes I requested and adding to our drip watering system in front of the house. 5 stars for everyone involved! BTW: they do appreciate the occasional gift of cookies!

Evan designed a beautiful backyard landscape that was within my budget and HOA requirements. The install crew, lead by Manny, were very respectful, professional and friendly. They let me know what was going to be done and how long it would take. They kept the site very clean and neat. I am very pleased with everyone at Alpine that I have had contact with!! Great work! Beautiful sod!! Thank you for creating my backyard sanctuary!!

We cannot begin to say how awesome it was working with Jack, Ryan, Brandon & the crew. Jack came to our home in Estes Park and reviewed our boring backyard. We wanted a water feature with some trees, shrubs and flowers and he created a design that was beyond our expectations. Brandon, Ryan and the crew worked hard to complete the beautiful water feature and landscaped yard we now have. Every day was a challenge between snow, rain and wind storms but the job was completed in a timely manner which was such a pleasant surprise. The people in the work crew were all first class workers and they knew exactly what needed to be done. No one would ever know that this waterfall had not been in our yard for years as it is so natural looking. Thanks to everyone who worked on our project. We would give nothing less than a 5 star rating to Alpine Gardens.

Kris Nylander had a great design that followed our desires and it fit our house perfectly. The installation crew was great and followed all of our suggestions for placing hardscape and plants without complaints. Follow up on issues that needed fixed were very prompt and courteous.

We had Kris draw our landscape plan that transformed the wasted, ugly space in front of our house to a useful space that makes our guests gasp at it's beauty. He drafted the "bone structure" and we did the planting. We're hoping to have him do some more work for us for an attractive windbreak.

Alpine gardens did a fantastic quality job building a flagstone firepit for us. We're definitely going to be working with Jack again. 2018- we hired Alpine again to do another round of improvements to our almost acre lot. we couldn't be more pleased with the quality and the service.

Over the past 20 years I have had the pleasure of doing business with Alpine Gardens. They have provided landscaping services for my homes, my businesses, and for my homeowners association. In every instance they have provided outstanding service. Most recently they installed concrete pavers on my patio. The installation was fairly complex since the pavers had to be cut to match an existing wall, landscape boulder and a fire pit. As always their crew was polite, efficient and highly skilled. The results were outstanding and is literally the talk of the neighborhood. I can recommend Alpine without reservation and wil use them whenever I need landscape services.

We had been trying for several years to remove overgrown juniper bushes next to our house in Estes Park and replace with attractive but low maintenance landscaping. This was both for appearance as well as wildfire mitigation purposes. We finally decided to research reviews of landscaping companies from Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont and Boulder. Alpine was one of the few companies that had consistently high reviews from its customers and we knew they had done work in our mountain community. Alpine has now completed our project, and we are extremely happy with it. In just a few days after we contacted them, Jack came in person to meet with us and help plan the work we needed. We also expanded the scope to build a flagstone patio where we had removed a hot tub, and to help us with some eroding areas behind our house. We highly recommend Jack and Alpine Gardens. Their crews were friendly, professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. They started our project early and worked full days until everything was done. We are very happy with the results – we now have a landscape that much improves the look and value of our property, plus being relatively low maintenance. Exactly what we wanted!

Designer Kris Nylander created a backyard oasis for us that is beautiful and that meets all of our needs. We now have a deck with a fire pit, a patio with a water feature, an outdoor kitchen, a pergola, storage area for all our waste and recycle carts, a new walkway, landscape lighting and beautiful plants. Work was done in a timely manner and all work crews and supervisors were polite and professional.
