We’re thrilled to announce that J-U-B is expanding into Post Falls! 🏢 With our local staff at 60+ professionals, we’re developing a new office building to support our significant growth. This is a huge step forward in our journey of growth and innovation, fueled by the support of the North Idaho community over the past 50 years. After a two-year search, we acquired 2.33 acres of prime land in Post Falls in April 2023. Teaming up with the Bernardo Wills design team, we’re excited to craft a space that meets the evolving needs of our company and employees. We’re planning a design to accommodate 103 staff members. We anticipate breaking ground on the new office building in the coming months, with completion anticipated by June 2025. I really appreciate the flexibility that J-U-B and the Aviation Services Group provide to work across multiple offices and with a number of different peers on a variety of projects in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Utah. I also really enjoy the social aspect of marketing and project management and the sense of community within the towns that I work in. 💚 What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities outside of work? I love mountain biking at Bogus Basin (where lift service is a must!) and getting overly invested in my sports teams. I also enjoy exploring breweries and local hangouts with friends. However, my favorite experiences are taking my 4-year-old son on new adventures and enjoying life from his perspective! 💚 What do you appreciate most about the company culture and values? I truly believe that J-U-B's greatest strength is its trust in and support for its employees to create the career they desire most. 🌱 J-U-B is excited to partner with Salt Lake County Youth Services on a project that will convert their campus into a xeric landscape with new functions, amenities, and features! 🌿 The transformation will provide a range of improvements, including a multi-use sports court, a ninja course, spaces for one-on-one counseling, seat walls, conversation nooks, an outdoor classroom for small group gatherings, garden boxes, and shaded pavilions. ☀️ These upgrades will also include variations in ground plane materials to create unique sensory experiences. Celebrating Earth Day with the completion of the Maybell Diversion Rehabilitation and Headgate Modernization project on the Yampa River in Colorado! 🌎 J-U-B provided the Maybell Irrigation District with remote monitoring and control of their headgate, improving drought resilience, boater safety, and fish passage for the endangered Colorado Pikeminnow. Thanks to our Environmental Services Group's coordination with federal agencies, this multi-benefit project was a success. Join us in celebrating Lise Hafso's 5-year anniversary with J-U-B! ✨ Lise does an amazing job channeling her creativity and thoughtfulness into every proposal she works on. We’re proud to have her at J-U-B! 💚 What do you enjoy most about your role at the company? As a member of the Proposal Group, I get to work directly with people all over the company, not just in one specific region or discipline. Each day looks different depending on whom I am working with and what type of project we are proposing on. I love working with such a large network of people – I learn something new every day! 💚 What motivates you to come to work every day and give your best effort? The people I work with are wonderful and help build a safe, fun, and warm work environment. My coworkers are invested in my career and want me to succeed. I feel like I am truly valued and cared for as a J-U-B employee! 💚 What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities outside of work? The performing arts are a big part of my life. In 2018, I returned to Spokane after performing with various professional musical theatre companies in San Diego. Currently, I am a member of the Spokane Symphony Chorale and I love getting to sing with the Spokane Symphony! I also love hockey and spend a lot of time watching the Edmonton Oilers with family and friends. 💚 Can you tell us about a memorable moment or event you experienced while working here? One of my most memorable moments at J-U-B was meeting Lexie Conley, an Environmental Planner in our Spokane office, on my first day of work. Lexie and I have since collaborated on successful projects and have planned many social events for our office. On that first day, not only did I meet a great coworker, but I also gained a new best friend.
