Event Description: This event will consist of a parade (which everyone is encouraged to join in) and a festival. Entertainment will be provided by individuals with disabilities. The Mayor’s Awards will be presented by the Fort Collins Commission on Disability. Vendor booths will provide 1) awareness of agencies and businesses serving people with disabilities and 2) educational activities so people can experience how having a disability, including vision and hearing loss, impacts independence and how adaptive devices can minimize functional limitations. Food and beverages will be available at discounted prices.
