Recommended Reading :
Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success by Adam Grant
The Gist- A witty and well written account of why and how it pays to be a good person. Grant shares personal stories as well as referencing numerous studies that demonstrate how "otherish" givers are more likely to have a positive influence and therefore succeed. The key take-away is you can't be completely selfless. At the same time, true givers must be authentic and genuine.
From Smart to Wise: Leading and Acting with Wisdom by Prasad Kaipe and Navi Radjou
The Gist- From Smart to Wise provides a well-researched and accessibly presented leadership framework that empowers readers to discover their own path to wise leadership. With the majority of leadership texts being either overly academic or simplified formulas, Kaipa and Radjou strike an artful balance. They have created a book that is founded on empirical evidence yet intelligible to leaders and change agents regardless of their position (or formal education). This is a must-read for leaders with actively developing their capacity for overcoming the challenges of living in a rapidly changing world.

About EntrepreNerds:
EntrepreNerds is the brain child of Ariana Friedlander. Six months into starting her business, Ariana began to realize that there was a lot about being an entrepreneur she needed to learn in order to succeed. A dedicated lifelong learner, she yearned for a supportive community of fellow entrepreneurs that read business books and discussed their experiences applying the concepts to real life. And so EntrepreNerds was born, with the first Book Discussion happening on March 1, 2012. Participating in this simple yet profound and engaging professional development program makes the difference between success and failure. EntrepreNerds Book Discussion participants benefit from making meaningful connections while expanding their knowledge. As a result, participants are empowered to implement new techniques, behaviors and strategies to successfully grow their business.
